my valentine
This is my Matt's facebook profile picture. He doesn't quite look like this now. This is a shot from when he was in Africa that he photoshopped. Ain't it cool?
This is what he made for me for Valentine's day and he silk screened it with his very own hands.
Scary as it seems to juxtapose 'valentine' with the slightly grimacing and hairy face of what appears to be a 45 year old man, I adore this shirt. I do. It's weird, and I fell in love with weird some years ago and we're still going strong. I look forwards to the questions I'll get about this shirt and the response I'll have to give. The conversations might go something like this:
"Who's on your shirt?"
"Oh, it's my boyfriend."
"You're dating a scary 40 yr old man??"
"No, of course not. My boyfriend is cute and young. He just looked liked this when he lived in Africa for a few years. That's all."
"I see."
Here's what Matty looks like now, sort of.
Anyway, the shirt is really my new favorite. You'll get to see me wearing it if you see me at all in the next few months, because I'll be wearing it all the time.

I think Matt is cuter with a beard. He sort of looks like a Latin American political hero--a guerilla fighter, and leader of some resistance movement. I can picture Matt puffing on a Cuban cigar while spouting anti-fascist rhetoric to a hall full of sympathizers in berets and green fatigues. I can't, however, picture Matt wielding an AK-47. But maybe he doesn't need a gun: you're his new weapon, Brae.

I was in HK on Valentine,saw a couple worn the shirts with "Damn couples" on.

Amazing. He is Amazing. Shirt is Amazing. You look Amazing. I wish you lived closer so I could admire that shirt in person. I'm sure the pictures don't do it justice!
